Neenah Native Drew Rucinski Pitches a Shutout In KBO Opener

As some of you may know, the KBO began playing last night. They had their opening day in South Korea yesterday. For many people here in America, it felt like a hint of normalcy. I’m sure the folks in Korea felt the same way even though they’re not able to go to the stadium. For the NC Dinos’ opener, they went with Drew Rucinski on the mound. Rucinski is not only an American but also from Neenah, Wisconsin. He dazzled yesterday (Or today) with six innings pitched, no runs, three walks, and six strikeouts in en route to an NC Dinos’ victory, 4-0.

Rucinski is one of the many Americans that are playing overseas in Korean. Trust me if you’re looking at some of these names, gas can scream out left and right. With the likes of Dan Straily and Nick Kingham, I have watched both in the past few years. They’re both not good.
I’ve been told that the NC Dinos closely relate to the Milwaukee Brewers and that I have to hate the Lotte Giants if I become a Dinos fan. Many people are on the Dinos bandwagon though as they have an awesome name. Still, I have to ride with the Dinos per the Brewers comparison. We’re a day or two away from people taking BuzzFeed quizzes to guess their KBO team.
Charlie.
