Packers-Bears Betting Preview: Hard Not To Love Green Bay

Green Bay Packers head to Chicago to take on their rival Bears. It is a matchup that has a little more juice to it than it did to start the season. At the start of the year, Matt Nagy was ready to start Andy Dalton and the Bears seemed hapless. Then their defense has been cooking of late plus the addition of Justin Fields leaves the Chicago Bears with a 3-2 record. If they beat the Packers on Sunday, they will be tied for the NFC North division lead. Can they do it? I do not see it at all. I break it down in this week’s betting preview why I’m all over the Packers -5.5.
@tappingthekegsports Packers are a great bet against the Bears. #IKnowWhatYouDid #fy #foryou #fyp #greenbaypackers #packers #gopackgo #nfl #sportsbettingtiktok #football ♬ Dancing On My Own – Robyn
With the Packers this season, I’ve been alright. New Orleans was a disaster. I stayed away from Packers against the Lions with the uncertainty of Week 1. Then in Week 3, originally I hated them against San Francisco then got confident as the week moved on. Same goes for Week 5 which was just a push. This feels a lot like Pittsburgh in Week 4. Packers are 3-1-1 ATS this season, so, they’ve been a reliable team if you’re betting with them.
As mentioned in the preview, I would not touch the over/under. 44.5 is very short especially for this Packers’ team, but this defense is borderline legit. I get they don’t have corners right now, but still, I like what the defense has brought to the table for the most part. There is a real chance that Green Bay puts up 28 or something and holds the Bears to 10 points. But could also easily see it going over if Green Bay struggles to get a pass rush and Justin Fields has time.
