Packers Excitement Meter: Davante Hits 1K

It’s hard to be excited about anything related to the Green Bay Packers. They’ve lost four of their last five games. They still haven’t won on the road. Trying to find positives about this team. The excitement level does not exist for the team. The excitement is gone. We cannot start getting excited again until they get back to .500 at least. One thing in the Packers defense, this whole ‘They have the same record as the Browns lolz’. Browns aren’t bad this year. They’fd playing to excpectationx.
Category Five Excited: Davante Adams – This is uneven game for Davante without question, but he went over 1,000 yards receivers for the first time in his career. Adams flirted with it the last two years getting 997 in 2016 then 885 in 2017. It’s good to see Adams get it with ease, and he could have one of the best receiving years in Packers history. Poor Adams missed a second touchdown grab because Aaron Rodgers overthrew him. The ball should have been six for Davant.
Category Four Excited: Aaron Jones – Another good game from Aaron Jones. Nothing special for him from a stats perspective. He had 72 yards on the ground with a 4.2 yards per carry and a touchdown. He added 21 yards through the air on three pass catches. Jones did some work against a Minnesota team that doesn’t allow much of anything on the ground. The guy continues to show his worth to the team, and why he’s the lead dawg.
Category Three Excited: Equanimeous St. Brown – We saw Marquez Valdes-Scantling have a few good games this season, and it became St. Brown’s turn on Sunday. He had three catches for 53 yards. Now, this mostly came in the fist half, but there were some good things. St. Brown worked his way back to the ball on one catch. He has a future with this ball club without question.
Category Two Excited: Jaire Alexander – Here’s the thing, I thought there were some good moments for Jaire yesterday, but it’s hard for me to pump up a guy who ended up toast by Adam Thielen. Granted, they moved way away from Thielen on Alexander later in the game as injuries mounted up for the Packers. Jaire lost this round, but there are many more to come for the young corner.
Category One Excited: Jason Spriggs – Woof. If David Bakhtiari has to miss time with a knee injury, Packers are very much screwed. Spriggs is an awful left tackle. First play of the game, he comes in and Rodgers gets sacked. Spriggs isn’t a good back-up and hurts Green Bay almost every time he’s in the game. Spriggs starting this week would be a dumpster fire.
