Packers Great T.J. Lang Says Goodbye to Football
After Jordy Nelson retired early in the week, T.J. Lang decided to be second Packers player in the Rodgers era to retire from the game of football. Lang played two years in Detroit to finish off his career after a memorable career with the Green Bay Packers. He is a great dude. One of the better personalities that existed in the last decade for Green Bay. Additionally, he played very well for the Packers originally as a utility man who played all over the line then as a rock solid guard for a few years.

Whether you remember the story about T.J. or not, he had some immaturity issues in Green Bay early on his career. Even though Green Bay is a small town, you can go out with the best of them in that city. He turned his career around though early on and retired that version of him. Some guys cannot do that. They continue to be the immature version of themself and never actually reach their potential. Lang did not do that. He made back-to-back Pro Bowls in 2016 and 2017 plus will always be a part of the Packers team that won a Super Bowl.
He is another former Packers player that will go into the Packers Hall of Fame.
