Packers Offensive Line Is Dominating In All Facets of The Game
Green Bay Packers are good. We all know that through three games of the season. Some might say they’re the best team in football. I’m not there yet after what Kansas City did on Monday Night. I feel good about calling them the best team in the NFC though. They’re definitely that through three games. Obviously, there is a way to go here and things can change. One of the big, underrated reasons why Green Bay is so good thus far is their offensive line. And the data backs up that showing that Green Bay is winning at both the run and the pass. This is wild.
Usually, offensive lines are good at one thing (Run or pass blocking) and maybe average or above average at the other. Green Bay is best at both things.y That is absurd. It is more absurd when you think about these two things. One, they did not have their starting right tackle in Week 1 or 2 then lost other linemen in both games yet didn’t miss a beat. The right tackle came into Game 3 without any issue or any struggle. Green Bay is deeper than deep on their offensive line. That is a good place to be. An injury to a lineman can kill a team’s chances to be successful, but right now, Green Bay has an advantage over the rest of the league.
Are these numbers sustainable? Honestly, it is hard to think it will be but I believe there is a top-five offensive line without question. They’re very good across the board. The fact that they were able to make this happen with Bryan Bulaga on another team is also a huge win for Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. They’re rolling with the big boys, and as a former lineman, nothing makes me happier.
