Packers to Playoffs Rooting Guide: All Eyes on NFC East

We’re one for one on the week. Green Bay got their first push in the right direction for playoffs to be a thing. Dallas beat New Orleans giving the Cowboys a commanding lead in the NFC East race and all of the sudden, they’re on Chicago’s toes for the third spot. As you probably know, there are many things needed in order for the Packers to be a playoff team. They’re going to need a lot of help. That’s why I’m here to provide you with how this week could help the Packers. Yes, they have to win first and foremost then the help needs to happen.
NFC East eliminator
Washington-Philadelphia: These two teams play on Monday Night Football this week. Green Bay needs one loss from Philadelphia and two from Washington. No matter who wins this game, the Packers are aided by the result. Who should you root for? Philadelphia. There are other opportunities for the Eagles to get knocked out and bringing Washington down to one loss needed would be useful. Root for: Philadelphia.
More NFC East help
Chicago-New York: Packers are obviously not winning the division unless a massive Bears collapse. Stranger things have happened but I would be truly shocked if this took place. That said, a Bears defeat would ensure that Week 17 might matter more especially if they’re dueling Dallas for the three spot. Chase Daniel gets the ball again, and you just hope that New York hasn’t quit on their season. Root For: THE G-MEEEEEEEEN
Showdown in Foxboro
Minnesota-New England: It might be a tough pill to swallow, but root for New England this week. Vikings need to lose the most games as part of the 4/5 combination. They do have a tough schedule though. Minnesota takes on a NeW England team trying to get a bye in the playoffs. They’re much better at home, and Rog Gronkowski is back in the mix. The Vikings biltz attack could pose issues for Brady though. Root For: New England.
Don’t Get Your Hopes Up
Carolina-Tampa Bay: Here’s the thing… Tampa is trash on defense. They’re pretty good offensively. Carolina needs this win, and if they had beat Seattle, I almost could see a letdown spot. The NFC South in-division games can be crazy, but it’s hard for me to fathom Carolina losing four straight games. Still, root for the Bucs
San Francisco-Seattle: Kurt Cobain might have a better chance to be revived from the dead than San Francisco has winning this football game.
Not only are you a Packers fan this weekend, but you’re a Eagles/R words/Giants/Patriots/Buccaneers/Niners fan as well.
