Rams Dream Team Shouldn’t Scare Packers… Yet

Los Angeles Rams continue to add to their defense as they’re bringing another superstar to their team. Ndamkoung Suh signed with the team yesterday on a one-year 14 million dollar deal. Rams are making a case to be considered one of the top teams in the NFC. They’re trying to bolster their roster to compete with Philadelphia. This dream team is not something the Packers should see as a threat, rather, look at it from a wait and see approach. It’s understood that they can be very good, but we’ve seen this story before with NFL teams.
There are many examples of a team winning the offseason and turning around to go 8-8. Rams are the 2018 champions of the offseason. They added the likes of Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and now Suh to an already good defense. With being in the Los Angeles market, people are going to nuts about this team. They’ll be the top defense when it comes to picking fantasy teams in Fall. Yet none of this means shit until they start winning games with this unit. This season is a little different as they’re no longer the plucky team out of nowhere, they’re now the favorites of the NFC West. That can affect a team as people react differently to newfound pressure.
Yes, Suh and Aaron Donald are a terrifying one-two punch in the middle of a defense. Teams are going to have a hell of a time running the football. From looking at a 2018 depth chart, it’s a holy shit moment without question. This team will receive a ton of attention as well as national televised broadcasts. They’re going to be the ‘it’ team of the West Coast which again is something new that this team will have to manage in the Fall. There are dynamics at play where this thing could fall apart.
Rams dream team is apparently not done as they’re exploring the idea of getting Odell Beckham Jr whose on the block as well. They’re not trying to win the offseason, they’re tryin to have one of the best ones ever.
