Rate These Admirals-Brewers Mashup Sweaters

Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Admirals have been in partnership for awhile now. In 2005, the Milwaukee Brewers led an ownership group to buy the Admirals, and the AHL Hockey team wears a Brewers patch on their sweaters. Before that, baseball and minor league hockey blended together with Bob Uecker’s ad campaigns for the team in the mid-90’s. They’re always been a connection. Now, the Admirals want to take it a step further by having Brewers themed jerseys for the weekend of the 7th and 8th in March. While this are cool, it reinforces the desire to bring back the ball and glove.
Coming soon… 👀@Brewers inspired jerseys.

Here’s the thing, these do kick ass and if I were still doing Jersey Grades, I would give it a solid B+. Yet, we need to see the pinstripes with the white, or the baby blue with the cursive writing. Of all of the Brewers uniforms, this one leaves the most to be desired from a missed opportunity to standpoint. I get this a marketing move for the Brewers, and they’ll likely bring Brewers players to do meet/greets yet still, bring back the old logo more and more.
Charlie.
