Rating This Week’s Crazy Aaron Rodgers Stories

People should be over the Aaron Rodgers storyline. I realize it’s quarantine where sports topics are extended for multiple days instead of ending in a few days. If the Packers drafted a first-round quarterback in a normal spring, this would been forgotten nationally in a few days. There would have been a storyline in the NBA Playoffs to distract other people. And locally with the Milwaukee Bucks likely pushing on in the playoffs, people would discuss that along with whatever the Milwaukee Brewers were doing. We’re are eleven days since Green Bay drafted Jordan Love and takes are still flying. Let’s rate these on a crazy scale.
“If Green Bay had an actual owner, would Love have got drafted?” – This isn’t that crazy. But it’s a pure fantasy. Green Bay does not have an owner and will not have an owner for the near future. It is fan-fiction to put out a column such as this one about the Packers. I get Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk needs content and his buddy Chris Simms helped him out here. My question is how much influence does an owner have? Some owners are very involved like Jerry Jones or Arthur Blank while other owners do not have any sort of say on what happens in the draft. It is truly not known how a Packers owner would react to the Love draft pick: Crazy scale: 3/5
Las Vegas Raiders are going to make a trade for Aaron Rodgers next year – This one is WILD. An anonymous NFL executive believes the Las Vegas Raiders are going to make a trade for Rodgers next year. Ignore the fact that Rodgers is still owed a boatload of money and would completely blow up the Raiders’ cap. 2022 is the year for something like this to potentially happen. Maybe this executive got his year wrong? This is crazy because of 2021 date, not the idea of Las Vegas trying to make a deal like this. I’m not even going to entertain a fake trade. Crazy Scale: 4.5/5
We’ll see if more Rodgers’ stories flow in this week or if they die down as the week goes on.
