Yes, I know there are many great television shows on at this day and age, but they keep churning out new ones. Westworld has my full attention on HBO. Sure, the critics were all over the map with this first episode. Me personally, I liked how it set up and hope it’s not in that same category as The Leftovers. I have a feeling HBO would like it to be its own separate entity from that show. The acting is damn good which isn’t surprising with a loaded cast of Evan Rachel Wood, James Mardsen, Jeffery Wright, Ed Harris and Anthony Hopkins. All of those names are legitimate actors.

I will recommend going in with a clear mind. This is a weird show and your expectations should be you’re getting the weirdness. If you set on a pedestal, you’ll likely be disappointed with the result.
