Rodgers’ Softball No-Show Shows Braun Feud Still Exists
The California Strong softball game was a great event. Celebrities were everywhere, and the Milwaukee Brewers did a great job hosting the event with Christian Yelich and Ryan Braun leading the way. Although given his offseason has already begun, it was surprising to see Aaron Rodgers not in the house. One NFL quarterback, Baker Mayfield, made it there, but Rodgers, the Wisconsin representative, did not which was very surprising. Rodgers put together his own efforts to raise money in support of the California wildfires, so, this seemed like a no-brainer. Until you remember, the longstanding feud between Rodgers and Braun.
In Milwaukee, the two biggest current young athletes are Christian Yelich and Giannis Antetokounmpo. There is no evidence that they’re friends, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they become friends as Milwaukee will try to pair them together in the coming years. This happened once before with Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun. The two became fast friends both from the California area and coming up at the same time. They became close enough to open their own restaurant together. That relationship quickly broke apart though. Braun received a positive drug test that he claimed was tampered with and Rodgers stood by his side only to have Braun lie and lead to a suspension by baseball. Remember, Rodgers came out in STRONG defense of Braun. Since then, there has been no relationship with Bruan and Rodgers.
Neither person has said anything really about the other one. The restaurant died and went to new ownership shortly after Braun’s PED scandal. Rodgers moved to support the Milwaukee Bucks and take a small piece of ownership in the team as well. He doesn’t say much about the Brewers, although, the quarterback does show his support last season, although, the comments were not much.
#Packers QB Aaron Rodgers on the Milwaukee #Brewers, who are a .5 game behind the Chicago #Cubs in the NL Central: "Those of who are fans of all the teams in the state have obviously been following them. It’s been fun. They’re in the mix not only for the division…

I don’t know if these two could ever bury the hatchet. As we all know, Rodgers holds grudges. That’s part of his game as a person, but it’s disappointing these two couldn’t put it aside to raise money for a good cause. \
