Jabari Parker donned a Colin Kaepernick jersey on Instagram today showing support for the 49ers quarterback. Parker spoke out this summer regarding the gun violence in Chicago, and how he wanted to solve the problem of keeping young kids off the street. Additionally, he said that he will remain outspoken about social issues facing our country so it’s not a surprise Parker made a statement with Kaepernick.

It’s a sad thing that my immediate thought was how the white bread suburbs of Milwaukee would handled something like this, but here we are. I don’t think there will be many people who will refuse to go to Bucks games because one of the Bucks’ players wore a football jersey. There will be some tough guys who probably say “I’m never going to a Bucks game again.” When in reality, they aren’t actually going to Bucks game in the first place.

Bucks ‘liked’ a couple tweets regarding Parker’s jersey so it appears they are fully behind him as they should be.
