Before Seattle gets their season started against Green Bay, they debuted a new logo to the public on Tuesday. They were rumors around a new logo after a player was seen at practice with a hat featuring the new look, and it drew speculation that Seahawks might be going through a rebrand. For whatever reason, the flying bird wasn’t cool enough, and they are going to a more menacing bird for their alternate look. If we’re being honest, it looks like complete shit.

I know what you’re thinking… ‘Charlie, you are saying this because you really don’t like the Seahawks.’ This is true. I still can’t believe Russell Wilson is one of my fantasy quarterbacks, and it makes me puke in my mouth on a regular basis. But if we’re in the trust tree, I like the actual Seahawks logo. I love their old color scheme. I know ‘retro uniforms’ are kind of the rage nowadays, but why shouldn’t the NFL look into ditching the color rush for classic jerseys instead a la what the NBA is doing with their Nike partnership.

I can’t wait to be upset again on Sunday when I see this stupid bird on television.
