Somehow, Bucks Found a Suitor For Miles Plumlee

Milwaukee Bucks have lost nine of their last 10 games. Things are very bleak. They decided to make a move with their team by trading Miles Plumlee to Charlotte Hornets for Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert. In one of the more incredible moves by Bucks management, they found somebody who will take on Plumlee’s albatross contract. Bucks now have added two more big men, and there are five big men on the team which seems like too many. The more important thing is Bucks got out of a bad contract quickly.
Besides wondering how this happened, the real question is who made the decision to keep Plumlee? John Hammond? Jason Kidd? The blame game is being passed around right now, and it’s fair to wonder who made the decision on Plumlee. I’m sure Hammond or Kidd went the Jim Calhoun route at some point this winter ‘You want me to say I fucked up, I fucked up.’ If a Kidd firing is coming which I think could be the case if they lose the next two, maybe this is the beginning of the end for him. The best part about Plums is after he made the money, he just went out and got fat as shit by partying and eating all sorts of munchies. Even better, PLumlee didn’t get back to his healthy weight this season. He stayed tubby while he cashed fat checks.
Hawes and Hibbert might be seven feet tall, but the two players are fairly different. Hawes is more of an offensive threat who can shoot threes when given the opportunity. He’s not a great defender but can help a team spread the floor even he’s struggling from deep this year (Only 29 percent from deep, yikes). Hawes can bring some of that mid-range game to Bucks which none of their big men have. Hibbert is a great addition for Bucks defense. They needed a stopper in the middle, and he could be that guy. Hibbert isn’t the same defender like he was with Indiana, but still, he gives Bucks a little more on interior defense.
