Bucks are going to have .500 West Coast road trip. That’s exactly what you want. But why am I feeling so disinterested in this team? Answer could be watching the finish of last night’s game. Milwaukee and Los Angeles went down to the wire after the Bucks blew a 21-point lead in the second half to the young, upstart Lakers who battled back to make this game. Even though Eric Bledsoe had a huge scoring game with 39 points, he could not have been more of a liability for this team. Bledsoe decided to take over this game and leave Giannis Antetokounmpo without a touch in the final minute of the game as well as most of overtime. It’s absolutely pathetic that Bledsoe froze out Giannis.

The Bledshow heel turn
It’s an absolute travesty to watch what the former Kentucky product did to the Bucks last night. I understand he was feeling it, but at the end of the game, Giannis is the captain. Giannis should have bowled his ass over and took the game into his own hands. It’s pretty clear why Phoenix didn’t want anything to do with this guy. Some of the Bucks Twitter jumped all over him saying there were signs of this, and it became official last night. I’ve never been more frustrated watching a guy score 39 points.

Joe Prunty lost control of this team
I’ve officially decided that Prunty is not coaching this team. Bucks players are running this operation and tune out whatever Prunty is saying. That can be the only explanation why he didn’t call timeouts down the stretch. Or the fact Prunty continues to play Jason fucking Terry 30 minutes a games while keeping Sterling Brown on the bench. Watching Terry be an absolute disaster on defense down the stretch, I yearned for Matthew Dellavedova or Malcolm Brogdon to come save this team. Prunty doesn’t control what’s going on here.

Tyler Zeller did well in a starting spot
With John Henson having a sprained finger, Tyler Zeller received a starting role. He did a great job in there. Sure, he got dunked on by Julius Randle, but Zeller did a great job in the paint. I hope he gets the start against Denver on Sunday night. It’s not that he deserves it, rather, Zeller could potentially hold down Nikola Jokic who owns Milwaukee.

Next up
Milwaukee takes on Denver on Sunday night. The Nuggets dominated Milwaukee in the past few years with Jokic. In the last three games, Denver beat Milwaukee by an average of nine points, and Milwaukee hasn’t won in Denver since 2010. We’ll see if things change this team around.
