Steph Curry Believes in the Bucks’ Future

When athletes open their mouth, it’s a mixed bag. Sometimes, we get a quote that is pure coachspeak, and there’s trying not to give out any sort of nugget about the game. Then, there are the other times when a quote is very meaningful from an athlete. Take what Steph Curry said about the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday. He compared the Bucks to the Warriors and believes the coaching switch could have ‘unlocked the potential of the Bucks.’

It’s an amazing quote, honestly. First of all, I love the fact Curry took a clean, respectful shot at Jason Kidd. That’s beautiful. Second, he speaks high praises of Mike Budenholzer. Not surprising since Kerr and Budenholzer likely have a relationship from their time together as player and coach in San Antonio. It’s lofty praise that Bucks fans should love, but they should realize that there will be bumps in the road along the way. Even though the Warriors seem unbeatable, they have their downward moments.
Bucks fans knew that things changed and something special is happening with this team yet CUrry reenforces that fact. The future is really bright for Milwaukee. At this time, they’re the second-best team in the Eastern Conference trailing only Toronto. Milwaukee can 100 percent be the one seed in the East when April rolls along.
Also if Curry wants to play in Milwaukee, he’s welcomed with open arms (I kid…. Kinda)
Charlie.
