Stephen Colbert’s Milwaukee Skit Is A Piece of Unfunny Garbage

Stephen Colbert has a late-night show. What a late-night show means these days is drastically different than what it did for David Letterman and Jay Leno. But we’re not here to talk about that. Rather, Stephen Colbert put together a skit for Democratic National Convention showcasing Milwaukee virtually. Of course, they picked every stereotype out minus that we’re all fat because heaven forbid, we get fat-shamed. There is nothing wrong with getting jokes off, but this is one of the most cringy, unfunny fucking things I’ve watched in my life. How this got approved is beyond me.
You can be in Milwaukee without hopping on a plane. Take a virtual tour of the DNC. #LateShowLIVE https://t.co/2ki76pZQBI pic.twitter.com/h0Fs2HcQAd

Let me help you put together a good virtual tour, Late Show. One, hire Charlie Berens to do your voiceover. He is known for his fake ‘Wisconsin’ accent and very good at it. Some of his stuff might be cringy, but it still plays better than this guy trying to do one. Not sure if that was Colbert or a staff member, but boy, that absolutely sucked. The other parts of this such as the food scene, and the fact we have no sight minus the fact a top architect in the world built us a fucking Art Museum that looks like the Sydney Oprea House.
Make fun of us about trying to be like Chicago or make fun of us caring too much about the Packers. Actually talk to someone who knows a bit about Milwaukee and find out what is worth making fun. This is east coast elite out of touch hipster humor that did not work at all.
Throw this in the trash, please.
