Still Don’t Know How Khris Middleton Made This Shot

Milwaukee Bucks had a nice win over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night. Bucks won 119-109. We’ll talk more about that in the review later today. But what we also need to talk about is how Khris Middleton made this shot that I embedded below. On the degree of the difficulty scale, this is like a 10 out of 10. You will not see many shots that are harder than this one in the NBA or any level of basketball. My guess is there will be a lot of young Bucks fans trying this shot out at recess or the gym.
That little fade at the end of his shot is all Khris Middleton needs to get a bucket. (via @bucks) pic.twitter.com/UUEwAQjKEv

One thought here that will get forgotten about this shot is that this is the fucking corner play. If you know, you know. And by the way, that’s what it is called for Bucks’ fans. ‘The fucking corner play.’ If you’re not familiar, Mike Budenholzer seems to have one ‘After Timeout’ or ATO call in him, and that is sending one of his shooters, usually Middleton, to the corner. It doesn’t work that often hence why it usually has an adjective in front of his name. But in the spirit of good vibes post-championship, I will not get too mad at this. Also, it went in.
Good night for Middleton overall finishing the game with 27 points on 9-of-17 shooting. He also dished out seven assists and five rebounds for a complete night from the field. After a rough game in Miami, Middleton bounced back nicely with two good games against San Antonio and Indiana. While they’re not playoff teams likely, it’s nice to see Midds get buckets after a tough outing.
