With a three-game NBA slate, you didn’t expect much to happen, but the Washington Wizards-Phoenix Suns game had everything. Brandon Jennings and Jared Dudley got kicked out of this game as Phoenix’s plan is for everyone in the NBA to fucking hate them. But the best moment of the game had to be when Suns Gorilla went with the ultimate hustle play by diving on the floor to get his drumstick that ended up on the court. What an excellent effort.

Suns Gorilla should be described as a scrappy gym rat who probably had a gorilla dad as his hoops coach. This is the kind of hustle you need from mascots, rather than some dope just hanging out and waving their hands in the air. Sure, Suns Mascot could have got drilled while diving on the court during the game, but he didn’t give a shit. I haven’t seen a more courageous effort by a gorilla since an animal they called Harambe.
