Thank You To Philly’s Faithful For Spending Money To Catch an L

Last night, I enjoyed the Milwaukee Bucks-Philadelphia Sixers game from the upper bowl for free which is the best way to do basketball. I wondered if we would be among the Philly fans who planned to be here for last night’s game. I knew they had a big crowd coming, but then seeing the pictures from social media, it appeared that 400 strong would be there at the game. They filled up the section directly across from me. Philly brought the noise as they were standing for the most part yelling ‘Trust The Process’ on a regular basis and chanting ‘MVP’ when Joel Embiid stepped to the line. This was all part of a #JusticeForJoel campaign as they want to retribution from Malcolm Brogdon winning Rookie of the Year over Embiid. This did not go their way.
It started off strong for Philly, but the 31-5 run in the third quarter proved to be a major difference maker for the team putting to bed any chatter from the Philly fans who ran their mouths early and often in this game. Happy that these men and women were able to meet Embiid after the game, but that’s my favorite kind of consolation prize. Also, it doesn’t really help your case when the ‘MVP’ Embiid gets shut down by Tyler Zeller. That’s not exactly how things are supposed to work here.
Man Sixers fans are the best.. Really appreciate y’all.. The love and the passion that y’all have is kinda insane but I love it #BusTheProcess #JusticeForJoel pic.twitter.com/n2nQcTEvV2

I’m glad the Philly fans could see Milwaukee for a little bit, even though, they were too chicken shit to hang for multiple days up here and had to set up shop in Chicago instead. Hope they come back and spend their money in our wonderful city. Don’t let the door hit on the ass, Philly.
Charlie.
