The Walkoff Jesus (Aguilar)

What a way to welcome us back to SnoTap! I’m going to explain a little more on Saturday morning, but the short of it is I finally have the ability to write after being away from it since Monday night. Happy to be talking with you all. I’m even more happy that Jesus Aguilar continues to make his case for being an All-Star for the Milwaukee Brewers. He hit two home runs tonight. They were the only runs for the Brewers. They were two of the three hits, and Jesus broke up a no-hitter by Jack Flaherty. This is some amazing shit happening for Milwaukee.
Bottom of the 9th. Tie game. What would Jesús do?

The call is predictably great by Brian Anderson. Brewers are rolling again with three straight wins after three straight losses. They’re 5.5 games up on St. Louis right now and could be pushing to 6.5 on Saturday afternoon. Aguilar is mashing baseballs every game out. Is this sweeter since it’s against St. Louis? Yes. Does it feel like St. Louis is wavering like a boxer almost knocked out? Yes. Let’s hope the Brewers can do the trick the rest of the weekend.
Charlie.
