Travis Diener Calls Game Then Gives Legendary Postgame Interview

Marquette TBT team has been a ton of fun. They were a good time last year, but they came back better than ever. Travis Diener joined the team after deciding to leave his job as a Marquette assistant and go back to play in Italy. Diener is currently 36 years old, and he’s taking a lot of these middle 20 to late 20 kids to school. Diener ended the game with an Elam Ending finish then told the ESPN’s Jen Hale that ‘He was going to sleep and drink beer’ before Thursday’s Final Four game in Baltimore.

It’s pretty damn cool to see Diener still be able to carry a team. It was also great seeing how many people got triggered by seeing his name trend on Twitter. Marquette playing good hoops with all of their alumni with the players watching is special to me. This group is a joy to watch. Marquette is up against it in the semifinals facing this All-Star team who haven’t lost a game in three years at the TBT. They’re 68-0. It would be amazing if the Golden Eagles were the time to knock them off.
