Holy fucking shit, what a sporting event. We are going to have some great sports moments in 2018, but there might not be many better than United States versus Canada in Women’s Hockey for the Gold Medal. This is a real rivalry with a juggernaut in Canada versus a tough competitor with the United States. Scott Van Pelt always says that sports are the greatest reality show of all-time, and he is right every time. This is more proof. I couldn’t do anything besides watch this hockey game. It was absolutely incredible. Kudos to the rivalry and yes the shootout style stinks yet it doesn’t matter when the U.S. has gold. LOOK AT THIS FUCKING GOAL

Maddie Rooney is 20 years old and she stopped almost everything in the shootout. Rooney is going to be a star just like the Lamoureux twins who did the damn thing in this game. Jocelyne Lamoureux’s goal might be the highlight of the Winter Olympics. People talk about ‘What’s the story of this Winter Olympics?’ And here’s your answer with the United States taking down Canada. A team who has been great for sometime will be the ones that everyone has their attention.
