Virginia Tech basketball is attempting to make their rise in the very tough ACC. Buzz Williams came over from Marquette in a move that many saw as sideways or backwards from the Golden Eagles. As it’s been unearthed, there were several problems with Buzz and the administration opening up the door for this job. But Virginia Tech is acting like Buzz still works for Marquette as they are pitching Golden Eagles athletes to their players.

All of these players went to Marquette. All of them. Not a soul played at Virginia Tech. This is hilarious. Hokies are so desperate to get recruits in the building, they’re using Buzz’s old job to promote their middling college basketball team. It’s truly sad, but a friendly reminder about what Marquette does with recruits. Wes Matthews may be the worst one out of the bunch as he was not recruited by Williams, thus, having no impact getting him to Milwaukee. This is all really sad by Hokie basketball, yet it makes Marquette look great.

Hopefully, Williams can find some guys of his own at Virginia Tech.
