Milwaukee Bucks could have had one of their signature wins of the season last night. They furiously came back from a 14-point deficit at halftime to take the lead on Golden State heading into the fourth quarter. Warriors took it right back as Milwaukee only had 12 points in the fourth quarter. Jason Kidd showed why he’s not an elite coach nor will ever be and why the Bucks will always be a second-tier team to the Warriors of the world with his mismanagement in the fourth quarter.

Fireable outing from Jason Kidd last night
We talk about ‘Fire Kidd’ all the time. It’s become a part of Milwaukee nomenclature. But last night might have been the cherry on top for all Bucks fans. Let me set the scene here… It’s the fourth quarter, Milwaukee took a lead with the crowd entirely in full throat. What does Kidd do? He plays Matthew Dellavedova and Thon Maker for the first six minutes of the fourth. What in the actual fuck. Neither players had cause for being out there for that extended period of time. It was a joke that Eric Bledsoe sat on the bench for half the fourth. Kidd can never get these things right.

Khris Middleton doesn’t show up in this one
I’m going to talk a little bit about this game on the Daily Tap later this afternoon, but I have a thought about Middleton. I’m starting to realize something with him that basically makes me think he might be the piece that gets dealt. Not Jabari Parker, but Middleton despite being second in scoring. This dude killed the momentum all game long. He went 2-for-12 and missed big shot after big shot. He has to be good in this type of games.

Sterling Brown’s play is another indictment on Kidd
Not that we need more logs to pile on the Kidd fire, but Sterling Brown’s play is another one. This guy sat on the bench for most of the season with Milwaukee desperately needing a bench scorer, and he was that guy. How ridiculous is that? Like I get rookies need a little time, but Jesus Christ. Brown played really well again last night even if the box score doesn’t show it.

Next up
Milwaukee heads to Miami where the Heat are red hot. Hassan Whiteside is going to be a problem for Milwaukee inside, and James Johnson seems to give Giannis fits. I’m also worried about getting a Saturday night in Miami. That screams ‘Look like shit and play hungover.’ Milwaukee has a tough back-to-back here, and it would be great to see them get one.
