Why are Rodgers’ Training Camp INT’s a Story?

One of the biggest stories of the first week of the Packers Training Camp is Aaron Rodgers and his interceptions. Yes, there are people who are actually worried about Rodgers’ interceptions at Training Camp. It’s crazy that this is a thing in Training Camp. I’m mad to write about something like this but people are maniacs. And if he struggles early on, people will be like ‘See Training Camp wasn’t a fraud!’ Everyone should settle the hell down.
There are two things to unpack here. The first one is the Green Bay Packers superstar will be taking more risks at Training Camp than he would during the regular season or even preseason. It’s a good thing to try new things especially with new receivers out there. Rodgers want to all of these guys to know that he could throw it them at any moment, and they’re always open no matter what the coverage is on them.
The other thing to look towards with the interceptions is the new defense he’s facing on a regular basis. This isn’t like he’s seeing the same ole tired Dom Capers defense. Rodgers throwing interceptions helps him with other new defenses all over the National Football League. It also makes the young defense stronger. Jaire Alexander picking off Rodgers is amazing for his confidence. Even if it’s a Training Camp INT, he will have a pep in his step the next day.
Sometimes, I think people get themselves way too worked up with Training Camp. I guess it’s due to football being back, and some can’t enjoy other sports, therefore, they live on any sort of Training Camp news to get them by. I get football is important, but there are other sports worth your time. If you’re getting worked about Rodgers’ training camp INT’s, maybe take a few days off from the Packers news.
