Wolverines 38 Badgers 17: Wisconsin Off To Worst Start Since 1990

Wisconsin Badgers are down bad. There’s no other way to put it. Wisconsin is in a situation where they have lost yet another football game. The Badgers are 1-3 this season thanks to a brutal schedule. But as pointed in the review, if you’re the 12th team in the country, you should at least have won one game. Two of them were at home. The other was a neutral site game in Chicago which is only 90 minutes from Madison. While the Badgers did have a hard schedule, it’s not like they played at Death Valley, The Horseshoe, and in Los Angeles. This is another tough loss for the Badgers.

Not sure where Wisconsin goes from here. The College Football Playoff is no longer a thing. They could still win the Big Ten West, but that’s going to be a massive hill to climb. It would likely mean Wisconsin has to win out which would include a win against Iowa, which is number six in the country currently. That is likely going to be the goal for Wisconsin, but it’s hard for anyone to look at this team and expect them to go on a crazy hot run to finish the year.
Illinois is up next on the road. Wisconsin lost there two years ago on a missed kick late, and the Badgers fell apart as 27-point favorites. Add that plus the poor performance to start the season and you would assume that the Badgers are hungry to win one.
