Yelich & Braun Let the Cardinals Know a New Duo Has Arrived

Did that really happen last night? I mean, did it really? Christian Yelich and Ryan Braun went back-to-back for the final two at-bats of the game to pull out a victory and give the Brewers a shot to win the series tonight. What a massive moment for these two guys in this young season that’s already full of theatrics. And the fact it happened against St. Louis, this makes it so much better. That’s the type of thing that will keep you at night. Dominic Leone is a complete gas can to Braun who has hit four home runs off him in five at-bats. Complete ownage by him.

Travis Shaw tweeted out last night how ‘he loves the vibe’ going on with this team right now, and I can’t blame him. From the first game of the season, it felt like the Brewers chemistry looked completely infectious. Lorenzo Cain and Yelich bought in right away, and Braun looked rejuvenated to play baseball. This team is never going to be out of a game. Milwaukee kept clawing back down 4-0, and the bullpen held its water giving way to Yelich and Braun who did the rest.
What will happen next?
Charlie.
