Brewers Upgrading Their Snack Game

In a press conference held this morning, the Milwaukee Brewers unveiled plans for a complete transformation of the food and beverage hospitality experience at Miller Park. The project will be the single largest upgrade to Miller Park by the club in every measure, from scope to financial investment, since the facility opened in 2001. The announcement was made by Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger.
The new food and beverage program is inspired by the Brewers organizational mantra to “cherish our fans,” and promises to enhance Miller Park’s status as baseball’s top entertainment destination.
Milwaukee Brewers announced today they would be redoing their concession stands along with adding new food items and a bar setting in the loge levels. I love what the team is doing here for a couple reasons. One, it’s probably a good time for a facelift with concession stands. It’s always so confusing to find the right one with the right food. Second, it’s good to hear Miller Park made an investment with more craft beefs. That’s a big positive. I’m hopeful they have some rotation, and it’s not just Miller product like Blue Moon, Batch 48, etc. Further, I do think the long lines for the free food Sundays with kids had a large part to do with the change.
The other reason to make the change is they have to give the fans something to check out next year while the team is bad. The hope is the ballpark will still have that allure even if with a team who might not have the best record.
Charlie.
