Brock Holt Welcomes Himself To Brewers With Insane Tag
Milwaukee Brewers added Brock Holt early last week. The addition was met with many cheers, and the only jeers came from Boston Red Sox fans who wanted him back for their team. Many people noted how Holt would be a fan favorite in Milwaukee like he was in Boston. In his first game with the Brewers on Monday afternoon, Holt made an out of this world tag to complete a double play to end an inning. Milwaukee’s shortstop put the glove between his legs to make the tag and the out. It is an awesome play and a great display of athleticism combined with adjusting on the fly.

Who knows what position Holt will play the most of next season. He is exactly the type of player that Craig Counsell uses and loves to have on his roster. I’m not surprised that the Brewers made this signing, and Holt made plays immediately. Besides his great tag, the Brewers utility man also added a hit in this one. Milwaukee swept their split-squad games today beating Los Angeles in this one, 2-1 with a run in the eighth and ninth inning. And they blew out Oakland with a dominating 14-4 victory.
