Bucks Getting Into Brewery Business?

Pictures came out yesterday depicting new images of Milwaukee Bucks entertainment district. The big thing that stood out to everyone was the image of brew tanks in the middle of it giving the look of a brewery. Everyone’s mind is wondering what could be going there. My suggestion for the Bucks and the City of Milwaukee is to put something that’s going to bring together the casual beer drinks along with the beer snobs.
Milwaukee doesn’t want either end of the the spectrum. If they let MillerCoors get their hands on it (I fear this greatly), many people will not take this seriously. Some might find it cool, but every year, people become more knowledgeable about craft beer. I live right next to Lakefront Brewery, and this place is packed every Saturday and Sunday. The people who are attending range from a young millennial to a 55-year old couple looking for a fun weekend activity. Bucks need to recognize the beer demographics are changing in the city, and a lazy attempt with MillerCoors would not be a right one.
There are so many local brewers, and more will be coming by the time this BrewHaus is built on fourth street. The most logical thing is to combine all of the great Milwaukee craft brewers together like Lakefront, MKE Brewing, Black Husky, Like Minds, Third Space and MillerCoors. My guess is Bucks will open this up to the highest bidder. The question is will the bidder be strictly for craft breweries?
Can’t wait to have a few pints there in the future.
Charlie.
