Donald Driver Gives Great Answer About His Departure From Green Bay
Donald Driver is one of the all-time great ambassadors for the Green Bay Packers. Driver is a great wide receiver for the team too. He made an impact as a seventh-round draft pick out of Alcorn State. He did so much in his time making the Pro Bowl three different times and having multiple huge seasons. The Packers wide receiver is one of the few who caught passes from both Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. Driver does so much in the community these days, it’s a surprise when you don’t see DD in an ad once or twice a week. The Packers’ great gave an awesome answer about how his departure from Green Bay. Listen to this.
Asked #Packers great Donald Driver for his perspective on team's business decisions – said after the 2012 season, team told him they wanted to go in a different direction. The comments from Driver are about as loyal as you can find from a player. It would have been weird to see Driver in a different uniform, but that’s par for the course at the end of people’s careers. The fact that he never wanted to play in any jersey but the Packers is very special. People should not take that for granted. You will not see many guys that are like Driver. Honestly, this isn’t some ‘team-first’ bullshit thing ever. Guys can look out for themselves and should. But it’s very rare when a guy thinks about the team first and the love he has for it.
