Eric Thames Walks Off the Brew Crew

Brewers have found a thrill for the dramatics this season. They’ve found a way to win in late games all season, and it’s part of their story of why they’ve been successful this season. Eric Thames added his name to the walk-off list last night with a three-run bomb of the National League leader in saves, Wade Davis. It was an blast out to right field that had zero chance of being caught. Milwaukee had five hits on four runs and won a game that they probably should not have. What a night for Brewers baseball.

You gotta love it from the Brewers. They escape from the jaws of defeat and keep themselves only one game back of the Chicago Cubs. Brewers avoid losing a third straight game and instead have a chance to win the series tomorrow evening. Milwaukee has played well versus Colorado this season as it’s their fourth win in five games against the Rox.
