ESPN announced they are putting the Wednesday January 18th matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Houston Rockets on their network. This isn’t surprising at all. The combination of Bucks recent success with Giannis’ growing national brand makes them the new TV darling, and ESPN/TNT are going to do whatever they can to put this team on television more. It’s a great thing about being a Bucks fan right now. People are hopping on the bandwagon left and right. They’re allowed to join until a certain point then we’re cutting it off.

Here are some other opportunities that could get ‘flex’ into the national spotlight without looking what ESPN or TNT has on their channels this year for those dates. I believe the mothership mentioned they would be better about flexing games after the onslaught of Lakers games last year.
