What a game. It’s bar close and a baseball game just finished up. What an amazing game with so many ups and downs that end with San Francisco surviving for one more day. Giants pull out a 6-5 13 inning win on a Joe Panik double. This game had more twist and turns than a Sunday show on HBO. Jake Arrieta hits a three-run homer off Madison Bumgarner only to have Giants battle back when Joe Maddon completely screws up his bullpen for the later innings of the game. Chicago had so many chances to make this game an even bigger lead for them, and they couldn’t capitalize on it which has to be frustrating for Cubs fans.

MVP favorite Kris Bryant would bring the Cubs back to even in the ninth, but that’s the last Chicago could muster on Monday night. Big time knock b by a big time player.
