Kingsley Keke Is Ready for His Breakout Year

Kingsley Keke is a guy who I’ve had my eye on through his young Packers career. When people wrung their hands about Green Bay not getting any free agents last season, Keke was one of the guys that people expected to step up. He did. Keke made plays out there. It would not be every game or every possession, but moments were there from the young defensive lineman. He met with the media yesterday and believes that his offseason work will propel him to do bigger things in year three for the Packers. I’m here for the confidence and here for the big year from Keke.
#Packers DL Kingsley Keke said he really felt he made a big jump last year and that this year he can be a 3-down lineman who can make an impact. He said he had a great off-season. "I think I can cause some havoc," he said.

Right now, it’s Keke’s job and no one else. The Packers are a bit thin at the defensive line position. T.J. Shelton is a good space eater and a good overall add for the Packers. Yet they do not have much when it comes to ends besides Keke, Dean Lowry, and Tyler Lancaster. Jack Heflin is an undrafted rookie from Iowa who is already serving as a second-team backup. Whether Green Bay told the Texas A&M product that more would be needed of him, or he just assumed to be ready, they’re going to need a good year from Kingsley. He has the skills to be something. It would not surprise me if he goes off.
Charlie.
