Packers Get Forgotten Among The NFC’s Best Offenses Which Surprises No One
Look, I like the no respect card. It’s overdone. People play that card way too much. But sometimes, you need to speak up when it is just egregious. Yesterday, the GetUp crew is talking about Kyle Pitts to Dallas. Apparently, the Dallas Cowboys might move up to number four to select Pitts. Matt Miller says that if the Cowboys get Pitts, they become the best offense in the NFC with no disrespect to Tampa Bay. No mention of Green Bay anywhere forgetting that the Packers had the best fucking offense in all of football. Not just the NFC. Packers aren’t fun to talk about unless it’s dealing with Aaron Rodgers’ drama.
.@nfldraftscout on the Cowboys' interest in drafting Kyle Pitts:
"If you add Kyle Pitts to that offense, no disrespect to Tampa Bay, that's the best offense in the NFC. … If you add in the LeBron James of tight end prospects in Kyle Pitts, I don't know how you stop Dallas." pic.twitter.com/Yh505DP9dP

Also, can we maybe chill out on the hyperbole too? ‘The LeBron James of tight end prospects?’ Are you fucking kidding me? Haven’t we learned our lessons about drafting tight ends in the first 10 picks? The new spin zone is ‘Well if he was a receiver, it’s not a big deal.’ Well, he’s not! The dude is a tight end. He can be awesome without using headline grab commentary.
Not sure what Green Bay has to do to be mentioned with the great teams. They’ve won 26 games in two years. That should be enough. Super Bowls are hard to win, but I guess that’s the only way.
