Tapping The Keg Game Review: Grand Slam Winner for the Brew Crew

What a game, man. These are the reviews I live for. The ones where it’s totally unexpected and you are just fired up from what happened with your team. These reviews rock. When Dan Vogelbach stepped to the plate, my thought process was ‘just a fly ball or make contact, no strikeouts.’ I wondered if he would attack first pitch since this was a new pitcher. After Alex Reyes’s first pitch, Vogelbach knew what he served up and launched one into the right-field bleachers for a home run. Obviously, I went crazy.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, this team is special. There is something about them that matters in a major way. We are probably going back to the Brat House for another edition of Brat House Boyz. I haven’t told Mitch yet, but that’s what’s happening for baseball too. Weather should hold on that we have the outdoor area, and if we don’t, we graduate to the upstairs. It’s going to be one hell of an October.
Charlie.
