The Jordan Love Takes Have Started & They’re Only Going to Get Worse
Jordan Love is an enigma. People are chomping at the bit to watch him play on Saturday evening against the Houston Texans. Packers fans as well as national media members are ready to have a take after this game. Even though this game is a preseason game against one of the worst rosters in football, people will have their takes locked and loaded. If he plays well, this is the next great Packers quarterback. If he doesn’t, he sucks and is a complete bust. I hate today’s media, but that’s how it is. The Love takes are already starting and there’s drama already. Pro Football Focus tweeted out that Adam Schefter reported Jordan Love didn’t know what a hard count was in 2020. It seemed a bit slanderous honestly as Schefter continues his crusade to drive a wedge between Packers fans. It’s screenshotted because it’s been deleted.

The reason it got deleted by Pro Football Focus is they aggregated one part of Schefter’s commentary about Love. He used it as an example for the development process as Schefter is somehow the Rodgers/Love expert.
This original Tweets lacks SO much context. Schefty was acknowledging that JL was a developmental prospect (which the Packers would too) and this was an example cited. Wasn’t trying to take a dig at Love or anything. Not even close to what the spirit of the conversation was about

This is a byproduct of our media desperate to keep this story going in any way they can. If it means putting out engagement bait content, that’s what they’re going to do. It’s only going to get worse in the next three weeks with the Packers’ young quarterback.
