Wisconsin Badgers Playing in the Mayo Bowl Is Absolutely Perfect
College football has seen a lot of teams opt-out of bowl games. Wisconsin is not one of them. The Badgers will be playing in a bowl for the 19th straight year. The last time Wisconsin didn’t play in one, I was the young age of 13 just figuring out what internet porn was. Wisconsin has never met a better bowl name for their team or their state. The Duke’s Mayo Bowl is what Wisconsin will play in this season on Wednesday, December 30th against Wake Forest in Charlotte, North Carolina. You may recall I advocated for this to happen this summer too.
For the 19th straight season…

Before talking about the matchup, the Mayo Bowl is Belk Bowl with a new sponsor which means they have a kick-ass Twitter account. It is hilarious how they’re putting an asterisk around Hellman’s which is the SnotapWI’s mayo of choice. If you don’t like mayonnaise, I don’t want to know you. I’ve never had Duke’s, but if they want to slide into the DMs, I ain’t too proud to beg. The perfect combination is mayonnaise with mustard. You can’t get better than that. Mayo is also an underrated thing to dip your fries in or put on your burger.
This will be Wisconsin’s first-ever matchup with Wake Forest. This will be the 107th different opponent that Wisconsin has faced in their school history. Demon Deacons have struggled defensively, but their offense can put up points. It should be a fun matchup.
