4th & 15 Plays >>> Onside Kicks. Do The Right Thing, NFL

National Football League is currently looking into different things to alter for next season. They do it every year. Teams propose new things. They also propose things to get rid of. A couple of teams suggested to do away with the onside kick and have teams try to make a 4th and 15 instead. The rumors are that this idea is gaining more traction and could be a legitimate thing we see next season. Watching Aaron Rodgers lead the Packers back with Minnesota’s buttholes tighter than lemons and Rodgers goes for it on 4th and 15, it would be amazing.
NFL clubs today received updated playing rules change proposals.
Most interesting: an alternative to the onside kick that would allow a team a chance to maintain possession by going for it on 4th-and-15 from their 25-yard line. Sounds like support for the idea is growing.

You could only do it twice a game. I don’t know what happens after that, maybe a regular onside kick. 4th and 15 feel short, but it’s really not. Do you know that the success rate is around the same as the onside kick? 4th and 15 is not impossible yardage for teams yet it is still difficult. The only thing I wonder about is the idea of a dead ball or not. If Rodgers throws complete to Adams for 17 yards, does that mean it’s over and Packers converted? Or can Adams still keep running?
I’m all in on this idea.
