For those who are not familiar with AITA acronym, it stands for ‘Am I The Asshole?’ I have a hot take. Not sure how spicy it is but I do not get the humor of Charlie Berens’ Manitowoc Minute man. People absolutely LOVE him. Sports marketing firms have tapped him for major projects like promoting the Milwaukee Adrimals and recently with the Milwaukee Brewers schedule preview on FOX Sports Wisconsin. I did chuckle at the Walgreens/Washington Nationals line, but mostly, I find his schtick similar to Frank Caliendo. It is run into the ground by now and people look at them like that episode of The Simpsons. If you find him humorous, enjoy what he did with FSWI.

Here’s the thing though, I don’t hate him for getting the bag! Like that dude cashed serious checks over an over-the-top Wisconsin accent. I cannot hate on that hustle. He is on the road currently doing comedy in small cities and college towns all over the United States with great success. While I may be the asshole for not liking him, I can appreciate that he has a fan base and built a brand out of next to nothing. Just for me, and maybe some other people, it has run its course as a marketing campaign.
