Eric Bledsoe is an enigma. There are great things he does, and there are things he does that make us wonder if he played the game of basketball before. Bledsoe, along with Khris Middleton, received the keys to the car with Giannis Antetokounmpo being out due to the birth of his first child. They took the car and provided smooth sailing for the Bucks. After a tough second and third quarter, Bucks responded in the fourth with a big run to start the quarter led by Bledsoe. Bucks never looked back from there winning 123-111. Milwaukee has won five straight games.

Player of the Game: Eric Bledsoe – As mentioned, what a game for the Bledshow. He had 28 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. He likes the matchup whenever he’s facing off against Sacramento. The thing that we saw from Bled last night that is encouraging is he played at a reasonable pace and good things happen. Somehow, someway, the Bucks coaching staff needs to show that to Bledsoe and tell him this is the speed we want you at for the entire playoffs. Good to see him playing well though.

Honorable Mention: Khris Middleton – Another guy that refuses to have an average game recently is Khris Middleton. He is on an absolute heater to finish off this stretch of games before the All-Star break. Middleton finished with 28 points as well with eleven rebounds and eight assists. He had his stroke going from deep as well with four made threes. Middleton and Bledsoe combined for 18 points in the fourth quarter when Milwaukee found their heat finally to win this one.

One Thing I Liked: Sterling Brown coming in and contributing instantly – Look, this has not been a great stretch of games for Sterling Brown. The team showcased him a bit before the deadline. It is unsure to me if that bothered Brown. But he did not seem himself in those games. Brown started the second half instead of Ersan Ilyasova, and it was a savvy move by Budenholzer. Brown played much more within himself versus trying to do too much. The Bucks guard finished with eleven points and six rebounds.

Next up:
Milwaukee will take on Indiana to wrap up this part of the season. Indiana will be desperate for a win. They’ve lost six straight games and want to finish this part of the season on the right note. Who knows if Antetokounmpo will play in this one. I would guess that the Bucks let him spend more time with his kid before the All-Star Break.
