Christian Yelich Takes a Shot At Radio Legend Mad Dog Russo

Christian Yelich is not one to use Twitter often. He hops on there now and again, but it’s not much. The same goes for Instagram. Yelich is on there, but sometimes, you see him trying to slide in somewhere versus actually posting. Yelich decided he had enough of legendary sports radio host Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo yesterday. Russo said that players who haven’t done anything in the game shouldn’t be speaking about this issue. That only people like Trout, Rizzo, Yelich (Not Mentioned, but he’s an MVP) should be talking. He was having none of that.
If the requirements for having an opinion requires success in ones field then you should probably take your own advice and 🤫 https://t.co/ycqKmWFlR7

Of course, he got the Gluck Gluck treatment in his mentions, but I have to confess something here… Yelich is wrong. Look, I know, I get it. But Russo is a legend in sports broadcasting. He practically invented sports talk radio with Mike Francesa. There is a fucking 30 for 30 about his career along with Mike. It is fun to see Yelich get in the mud, but the reality here is Mad Dog does have a great deal of success. So we can have some fun and like the feisty side of Yelich showing here with also realizing that he is not entirely accurate.
