Ernie Johnson is Having a Homecoming to Remember
Ernie Johnson is one part of the Inside The NBA family with Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith. Being the host and not the personality types like Shaq and Chuck, Ernie stays in the background. But what’s cool about the Bucks-Raptors series is Johnson gets to go home. He grew up on 68th street in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin (For the non-Milwaukee folks, it’s about 15 minutes out of Milwaukee). Johnson had a block party yesterday with his TNT friends plus made good on a promise about Blues Egg.
Great morning @bluesegg with @xKdub92x and the fellaz. So good to be back on the mean streets of Milwaukee!! pic.twitter.com/97KlNlbOL8

Johnson called the night ‘memorable and one that he would not forget.’ There were camera crews there from local television but also TNT, so I imagine we’ll see what they did in Tosa on Friday night. I like the idea of the TNT guys all hanging out in the suburbs of Milwaukee and other places around the city. Part of me wondered if the local TV coverage was overblown, but then I remembered that Shaq/Barkley are huge celebrities. They do not come to Milwaukee that often, and we should relish in them doing cool shit all over town.
