Jimmy Butler Tells Cleveland ‘No Thanks’
Yesterday, we discussed the best possible options for Chicago Bulls when it came to trading Jimmy Butler. The Bulls combo guard had been in many discussions about getting traded this draft week. The most notable team that came up was Cleveland Cavaliers. Butler told his home team that he does not not want to be a Cavs player. Good for Jimmy. He showed a little balls there about not wanting to join with LeBron James, and Jimmy wants to get paid.
Per source, Jimmy Butler has informed Cavs that he wants to stay in Chicago rather than be traded to Cleveland.

To me, Butler is one of the guys in the NBA who do not want to join a group of NBA superstars. Jimmy goes by the beat of his own dram in so many different ways. He’s not someone who follows the trend, rather, he finds ways to be a trendsetter. Butler’s attitude makes him harder to coach and read his personality. People don’t really consider him one of the most outgoing guys in the league. Therefore, it’s really not surprising that Butler wouldn’t want to join Cleveland.
Also, there’s the whole little thing about Jimmy gets paid if we stays with Chicago with the ever-popular max deal that could make him so much money with Bulls. You never want to fuck up your money if you don’t have to.
