Joel Embiid is the court jester of the NBA. He’s a really good player, but he also trolls more than anyone on a professional sports roster. With the Philadelphia 76ers playing Houston tonight, he checked out Game 5 of the World Series the night before. Embiid kept his troll game high by acting like he rooted for both teams. To be honest, this shit was about as lame as it gets. Maybe, I’m being an old man, but Embiid acting like he’s on both sides is pretty dumb. Just watch as a neutral fan and enjoy the game, no need to choose a team.

I just don’t see the reason to be a troll here. I’ll tell you what though… Bet all that you can on Houston covering the spread this evening. Embiid and boys were out until at least 1 am, therefore, we’re going to have some tired bodies on the court. This is what my dumb brain cooks up when I’m trying to decide who to put my faith into on a nightly basis. We’ll see if it pays off.

For Embiid, it would be a good reminder to him that everything doesn’t need to be a viral moment.
