Josh Hader’s Slider Looks Ready For Opening Day

I am not a big Spring Training baseball fan. I cannot believe some people bet on Spring Training games. Those people are mad men and women (Let’s not discriminate, y’all!) But this is the time to watch Spring Training baseball. We are just under three weeks to the season, which means, all of the big names are starting to play to get warmed up for the year. For example, Josh Hader of the Milwaukee Brewers took the mound against Cincinnati Reds yesterday. Let’s say the slider is locked and loaded for the 2020 season. My goodness, look at this pitch.

He completely buckles Joey Votto of the Reds with that pitch. Hader struck out the side in his first Spring Training game then he added a couple of strikeouts with one hit allowed today versus Cincinnati. It is only Spring Training, therefore, we need to temper our excitement, but it appears that Hader is ready for the ultimate ‘Fuck You’ Tour and will try to increase his arbitration number next season. I’m here for it. Glad he isn’t moping about what must have been an awkward situation to go through.
