Latrell Sprewell Selling Out Harder Than Anyone in 2017

Milwaukee native Latrell Sprewell is someone you can see out on the Milwaukee bar scene every now and again. It’s kinda cool to see Spree hanging out and being one of the boys at Jo-Cats. It was surprising to see him make an appearance at New York Knicks game against San Antonio Spurs. Forever and ever, James Dolan and Madison Square Garden banned him from attending games then in the ultimate heel turn move, Sprewell ended up sitting with the hated Knicks owner along with other former New York players.
Dolan wants to save face after Charles Oakley disaster from last week, but it seems so fabricated. This isn’t what the return should have been for Sprewell. It’s clear the New York owner pooled a bunch of money to get people to sit with him. It’s unfortunate to see Dolan take advantage of players needing a paycheck, but that’s what happened on Sunday afternoon. Dolan isn’t a good owner, and while he wants to paint a picture of the contrary, it comes off as fake.
Dolan needs to retire this act quickly, and I hope this is one-time thing for Spree. I would hate to see a guy who said this about the man he sat next to yesterday become his personal guest at every Knicks home game.
Latrell Sprewell came, he cursed James Dolan until the bitter end and eventually conquered the Knicks. Sprewell, the popular former Knick who was jettisoned from New York in a way that only Scott Layden can appreciate, unleashed several ugly profanity-laced tirades during last night’s 98-92 Knick loss that will likely result in a fine from the NBA. Of course, Sprewell has never backed down from a fight whether it’s with the league over money or with Dolan over his character. Sprewell finished with 31 points as did Sam Cassell to spoil Isiah Thomas’ first game as Knicks president and ruin Dolan’s night.
