Another week, another story about the Ball family. This time it’s involving Lonzo, and a freestyle rap song leaked out yesterday featuring Ball rapping over the ‘Free Smoke’ beat from Drake’s ‘More Life.’ And let’s all be honest with ourselves here, it’s complete fire. Lonzo is one of the better basketball players who can rap we’ve seen. If the hoop game goes to shit, he might have a future in the hip hop business.

After coming out with some executive level bus boy shoes, Lonzo and the fam bounce back with this rap song. This is one of those things that builds in cool points. I’ve always stated even though I think LaVar is a fucking clown, I like Lonzo’s game a lot and think he can be a good player in the NBA. He’s going to come in with scrutiny due to his father, and there are going to be players in the NBA who are going to make sure their first meeting is a bloodbath (You think Steph Curry or LeBron James forgot what LaVar said about them? Hell no). But Lonzo seems like a fun dude who is probably going to be a Big Baller rap album at some point.

Can’t wait until LaVar says he was better than 2Pac in his day.
